NEW SYSTEM REQUESTING APPOINTMENTS

From Tuesday 1st April we will no longer be using Ask My GP. Instead we are changing to a system called Accurx which integrates with our existing clinical system. You can use this system via our website without having to request login details or via the NHS app.
You do not need to rush to add your request at 8am. The system is currently open for appointment requests from 8am to 6pm.
All requests will be triaged by a clinician and allocated a priority which will be either same day, or routine up to 2 weeks. An appointment will be booked according to the priority assigned.
The system will also be open 24hours a day for admin queries only, including repeat prescription requests.

TREATMENT ROOM SERVICES WITHDRAWN

In addition to General Medical Services some of our additional services which are known as “enhanced services” are optional for practices to deliver. It is with much regret that we have had to withdraw from delivering the treatment room services in-house and your local ICB has commissioned them elsewhere. This is due to financial and workload impact. This has been a difficult decision but realistically we must concentrate on the contractual general medical services we need deliver to our patients and to ensure we can remain sustainable and safe.

We hope in the future that fair and sufficient funding can be invested in enabling General Practice to deliver these services again closer to home for the convenience of our patients.
